Rishi Madhok
CEO & Co-Founder, TerraByte
Rishi Madhok is a geospatial AI and computer vision leader with deep experience across remote sensing and applied ML. He has authored 18+ papers and patents in top AI/CV venues, including NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML, and CVPR. He earned a Master's degree with a focus on computer vision from Carnegie Mellon University. He started his career building perception systems for self-driving vehicles at Uber ATG and later joined Microsoft, where he served as a Principal Applied Science Manager and led geospatial AI initiatives for Microsoft Planetary Computer. He now leads TerraByte, which is building the foundation models and secure mission platform that make the Earth queryable across decades of archive imagery, every modality of Earth observation and increasingly in real time on the sensors that capture it.

Chris Howard
Head of Open Source at Uber
Chris steers Uber’s open source strategy, governance, and external ecosystem engagement. In this role, he focuses on optimizing the developer experience through designing modern engineering workflows, implementing compliance and governance processes, and leveraging AI to streamline how teams safely consume and contribute to open source software. A dedicated advocate for sustainable technology, Chris also sits on the OpenUK leadership and works closely with global open source communities to advance open governance, innovation and developer collaboration.
Brianna Corremonte
Technical Lead at Development Seed, Adjunct Professor at Loyola Marymount University, Founding Editorial Board Member at Cloud Native Geospatial Foundation
Brianna is first and foremost an environmentalist with a passion for making science accessible and understandable to the masses. She brings over a decade of experience working from local to international environmental efforts, in a broad-range of groups including start-ups, research labs, open-source communities and government facilities. Brianna most recently worked as Deputy Manager of NASA’s Goddard Earth Sciences Center Data and Information Services Center helping the orchestration of the transition from on premise services to an entirely cloud-based infrastructure and managing various engineering, science, and data curation teams totaling 70+ people. Brianna previously spent time working at the interface of remote sensing research and software development with positions at VITO and SpaceSense. She teaches courses on geospatial informatics, climate resilience and sustainable engineering as an Adjunct Professor at Loyola Marymount University’s College of Science and Engineering.
Brianna is also passionate about open source development, co-leading the GeoZarr specification development, nominated to the Pangeo Steering Council and Founding Editorial Board Member of Cloud-Native Geospatial Foundation. She has a PhD in Remote Sensing and Ecohydrology from Ghent University and a Masters in Civil Engineering from Loyola Marymount University. When she’s not at her computer - Brianna is running in the Los Angeles area on Chumash and Tongva lands with her two dogs and remains active in outdoor industry philanthropic activities serving as a board member of Footprints Running and an ultra-runner for the NNormal team and Kilian Jornet Foundation.

Greg is Deputy Director at the California State Water Resources Control Board for Information Management and Analysis and has led this amazing team of scientists, engineers and analyst for seven years now. In his 33 years at this organization Greg has worked in many different program areas, including stormwater, wetlands, watershed management, enforcement, and various projects dedicated to organizational development, including his current role helping lead the organization advance racial equity. Greg also serves as co-Chair for the California Water Quality Monitoring Council. Greg received a BS in Environmental Resources Engineering from Cal Poly Humboldt University and also grew up behind the redwood curtain.

Anna Holder (she,her) is the Open Data Science, Equity & Tribal Coordinator for the Office of Information Management and Analysis (OIMA). She leads Openscapes at the Water Boards, the development and distribution of the Water Board’s Equity Data Handbook, and is the co-chair of the Environmental Justice Roundtable’s Racial Equity Data Subcommittee. Anna obtained her M.S. and B.S. from California State University, Monterey Bay in Applied Marine and Watershed Science, and joined OIMA as a California Sea Grant Fellow in 2019. Regardless of role, Anna works to support our organization in integrating open data science & technology with humanity, equity & kindness.
Nick Ingalls
Senior Geospatial Engineer at Colorado Center of Excellence for Advanced Technology Aerial Firefighting
Nicholas spent the first decade of his career in the private sector working on web geospatial technologies as one of Mapbox's early employees. After Mapbox Nick spent some time working to support government and NGO's through Mapbox's sister company Development Seed before making the transition to working for government directly with the State of Colorado. For the last three years he has been the product lead for the CloudTAK program, working on the software during the day and then using it every night as an active member of a local mountain rescue team.
Owen Doherty
Principal Investigator for Cal-Adapt at Eagle Rock Analytics
Owen Doherty is a climate scientist who focuses on making complex climate data approachable and accessible for a broad range of users and uses. He is the principle investigator for Cal-Adapt and the Cal-Adapt: Analytics Engine. He has over 20 years of climate consulting experience and holds a Ph.D. in Marine and Atmospheric Science from Stony Brook University.
