Bruce Momjian is a co-founder and core team member of the PostgreSQL Global Development Group, the open-source database system that has been a cornerstone of the technology industry for over two decades. Since 1996, Bruce has been a driving force in the PostgreSQL community, and since 2006, he has been a key figure at EDB.

A renowned author and speaker, Bruce literally wrote the book on PostgreSQL with his work, "PostgreSQL: Introduction and Concepts." His expertise is sought after at international open-source conferences, where he shares his deep knowledge and insights.

With a diverse background that includes a Masters in Education, an honorary doctorate, and experience as a high school computer science teacher and a consultant developing custom database applications for top law firms, Bruce brings a unique and valuable perspective to the world of technology.
